At ALI, we believe that your time in Canada should be a culturally and socially enriching experience.
Includes visits to museums, concerts, bars, restaurants, parks, guided tours and special attractions and shows.
Check out our past and future activities calendars. An ALI staff member and/or teacher will be your guide during the weekday activities.
Please note activities change periodically and are subject to change depending on availability, the season and weather. Some activities may require extra costs (i.e. transportation and entrance fees).
Weekend Excursions and Trips
There is so much to explore beyond Montreal with some fantastic weekend excursions. Highlights include charming and historic Quebec City, Canada’s fascinating capital city Ottawa, the multi-cultural hub of Toronto with the wondrous Niagara Falls nearby.
Trips to USA: If you plan to visit the USA while you are studying in Montreal, you need a valid USA Visa. For most students, this must be organized before you come to Canada. If you have a single-entry Canadian visa you should be allowed to travel to the USA as long as your visa is valid and you return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada (http://www.cic.gc.ca).
Students can receive discounts on bars, restaurants, cultural tours, and much more with their ALI Student ID card.
Check out our monthly newsletter to find out more about our fun activities.
In order to join certain ALI activities, all students must sign a Student Activities Waiver Form.
For minors travelling on weekend excursion a letter of consent must be signed by legal guardian/parents before any bookings can be confirmed.
