University of New Orleans

The University of New Orleans has built its reputation by educating cutting-edge researchers, young entrepreneurs, and visionary artists. UNO’s Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering students have access to a tow tank, allowing for in-water testing of ship designs, while Environmental Science students analyze coastal erosion with faculty. Jazz Studies students compose with world-renowned musicians and performers. The Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism degree offers opportunities to study in one of the world’s best tourism economies. Film & Theatre students have access to the Nims Center, the 104,000 square-foot production studio where 12 Years a Slave and Dallas Buyers Club were filmed. UNO offers now a scholarship for full-time study to outstanding international undergraduate students. The Lagniappe scholarship offers $13,817 in scholarship funds. Tuition is $8,554 per year!
